How it works

An Apple Gift Card is not a Visa card — it is a digital code. After redemption, funds appear on your Apple Account balance and are spent on iCloud, iTunes, and other apps inside Apple.

Step-by-step

Open Gift cards in our app and find Apple (often under Popular or digital services). For Android, look for Google Play in the same catalog.

Choose a value and country that match your Apple ID country. Check the amount due and confirm.

Wait until Ready and copy the code from My purchases — this usually takes a few minutes.

Redeem on your Apple device: Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → Redeem Gift Card or Code. Or App Store → profile picture → Redeem Gift Card or Code.

Pay for iCloud+, iTunes, or a purchase inside an Apple app as usual — Apple charges the account balance.

Gift card region and Apple ID

Apple only accepts a gift card from the same country (store) as your Apple ID. A US card will not redeem on an account for another country’s store, and vice versa.

Before you buy: Settings → [name] → Media & Purchases / Country or Region — match it to the Apple offer country in our catalog. A region mismatch after code delivery usually cannot be fixed with a refund.

iTunes and other apps inside Apple: what the balance covers

One Apple Gift Card tops up your Apple Account. You can then spend that balance across Apple’s ecosystem — not only on iCloud.

iCloud+ — monthly or yearly storage (and related options) can bill the Apple Account balance when funds are enough.
iTunes — music, movies, and other iTunes / Apple Media content that Apple charges to the account balance.
App Store — apps, in-app purchases, and subscriptions in the App Store ecosystem.
Other apps inside Apple — purchases and subscriptions inside Apple apps on the same Apple ID (games, services, Apple Music, and similar) when Apple allows account-balance payment.

Do I still need a virtual Visa for iCloud if I have an Apple Gift Card?

No, if your Apple Account balance is enough after redeeming the gift card. Our virtual card is a separate way to pay where cards are accepted.

Why is my Apple Gift Card code rejected?

Most often the card region does not match the Apple ID country, the code was already used, or it was typed incorrectly. The gift card and account must be the same store country.

How is the App Store different from a physical Apple Store?

The App Store is Apple’s digital store for apps and subscriptions on your device. After redeeming a gift card, the Apple Account balance pays for App Store, iTunes, iCloud+, and other apps inside Apple — not automatically for a retail Apple Store purchase.
