USDT on TON and TRC-20: one balance, no conversion
USDT on TON (jetton) and USDT TRC-20 are not two currencies in IMBA Wallet. They share one USDT account. You choose a network only to deposit or withdraw. There is no “convert TON USDT to TRC-20” action.
What is supported
| Asset | USDT (stablecoin) |
|---|---|
| Deposit and withdraw networks | TRC-20 (Tron) and TON (USDT jetton) |
| In-app balance | One omni USDT account |
| Do not confuse | Gram — native TON, separate account. Bitcoin — separate BTC account |
How to move USDT from TON to TRC-20
Automatically: deposit on one network, withdraw on the other. Treasury rebalances behind the scenes. You do not swap USDT for USDT on the Convert screen.
The reverse path is the same: TRC-20 in, TON out.
Do not mix addresses. ERC-20, BEP-20, or native TON to the wrong USDT address can be unrecoverable. Gram sent to a USDT jetton address is not credited as USDT.
What this is not
Convert changes Gram ↔ USDT or, when Bitcoin is available, BTC ↔ USDT. It does not move USDT between TON and Tron. See Gram, USDT, and Bitcoin conversion.
