Account deletion

IMBA Wallet accounts are not deleted for ten (10) years from closure or last activity, in line with our data retention obligations.

Your account records include information about financial transactions and related activity. Regulators and supervisory authorities in various jurisdictions require this category of information to be kept for extended periods so it remains available if an investigation is conducted. That may include, for example, inquiries into fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, tax matters, or other unlawful or suspicious conduct.

During the retention period, data is handled in accordance with applicable law and is accessed only where permitted (such as regulatory requests, litigation, security, or audit).
